Hotel Type

Luxury Boutique Hotel

By far the most stylish and fashionable hotel option in Marbella near the heart of old town Marbella, Hotel Claude is located within a 17th-century townhouse for the local artist community. It's facade is every bit the fairy tale characterized with brocade masonry details over a brick and iron entryway leading to an arched rotunda with glass-topped atrium that casts the perfect dose of sunshine in this designer-minded property. While summer offers the culinary treats of Michelin-worthy Bijou restaurant, off-peak months offers only a limited kitchen serving breakfast, tapas, and Mediterranean snacks as well as a 24h room service. Dinner is served only on request for special occasions or during summer on the rooftop terrace that overlooks the twisting spires and crumbling rooftops of old Marbella.

The Room

Larger than it appears, perhaps due to its bold historical design statements, Hotel Claude is home to just 7 interior-designed rooms and upper-level suites. Rooms are accessed through private walkways through furnished galleries or along the upper mezzanine. Exquisite design spaces are lined in cobbled stone floors with smooth stucco walls and sparse, well-selected furnishings that lend the feel of a modern loft. Furnishings blend Gustavian-inspired platform beds with more modern leather tufted seating arrangements and headboard details. Upper level suites are cast under pitched roofline of exposed rustic beams capped with extravagant crystal chandelier. Bathrooms are open-flow spa space with sandstone vanities and shower floors with chunky chrome fixtures appealing to the yes and touch.
